PC Magazine features SteriPEN Freedom

Fresh, drinkable water is something many of us take for granted while at home. But travelers know that in certain parts of the world, the water is unsafe to drink due to harmful bacteria, viruses, and protozoa such as Giardia, which can cause diarrhea and other serious health problems. The SteriPEN Freedom ($119.95) will purify up to half a liter of water in 48 seconds and provides up to 8,000 treatments thanks to its germicidal UV light.
