802Relief’s Mission for Hurricane Irene: To acquire and distribute water filters and purifiers to Vermonters with interrupted water supplies.

“In any natural disaster the first requirement for recovery to take place is clean water. I was almost certain there was a need for them with roads washing out and towns not being accessible. Many people no longer had clean water sources from Tropical Storm Irene,”  - Scott Tommola in the Rutland Herald article.

We greatly commend Scott’s efforts and wish him and the citizens of Vermont the best with disaster recovery efforts.
